We have no formalities here other than please keep light talk out of the tech pages. We are striving hard to provide the most comprehensive complete up to date maintenance info possible for the Bonneville. If I see a tech question go unanswered that I dont know about (and my knowledge is very general maintenance) I either put a gearhead on it, or do research, or both. This Forum encourages thinking outside the box and wants fresh idea'*.

I post and feel right at home at BonnevillePro. They have had no qualms about my social presence there and I have lost any reservations of members being in both places and using each. Our respective sites are funded differently so I dont know how close we can bond, but I feel each can be used by the other if diffuclties arise shutting the other down. I welcome The chance to be of mutual service in this way.

All kidding aside(and I love to kid)Radomir, I sincerly welcome you back and hope to see you regain your old swing of things here and feel free to be yourself and bring fresh ideas to the table.

Thanks! I hope to be able to regain my swing as well. For now, I am really burdened by some college classes. How odd do you think it is that I think my college classes complicate my forum posting? That should appear to be backwards, and it almost does. Almost.

I'm trying to go for business, math, and French. These are mostly general things that should allow me to move past the people learning more specific things so that I can hire others and then we could all feel successful.

Well put John. Very well put and being in staff on BonnevillePro, 3800Pro and here, I find many staff thought processes to be similar. Learning with a bit of fun mixed in, and helping others. Different, new and even the same old ideas rehashed are looked upon with nothing but a fresh look. Let'* think up new things and dream different dreams while we look to the future and future cars as the B'ville might not be making a return trip like the Monte Carlo.

As you found out Rad, the L26 on a 3800 was old news to other forums. The folks that think things should be done one way with no other insight or willingness to learn have put themselves and their forum on a road toward the land of "Obsolete". I hope they enjoy it there, because once parts become obsolete as these vehicles age, one must think outside the box to come up with solutions.

So when your feeling better about yourself, could you share some of those great photos you have on your car work?

Like the paint job you've done for example.

I will continue to participate in all the forums and enjoy their content, now can't we all just get along even though we don't all have the same views?

Have a nice day!

Hey, Todd and myfirstbonnie! What'* up? Let'* get back to talking about me!

Todd, my photos of car work are mostly here. There are some missing, like a paint job I tried out on my 94, didn't really like, had rain soak into it because I tried painting outside, and then covered it in primer. I really should update my post in the Your Ride section. I'm not really sure about the tone in your comment, so I'm just going to talk about the SLE and wait for some clarification.

The SLE so far has had a sub-24 hour turnaround time on all my projects. Some of the clearcoat was peeling, so I repainted it. I put on exhaust tips, dropped the tubing and re-did a middle section with a friend and some welding, took out quite a bit of the interior and put in a 4-channel amp, installed door speakers, put on a Series III UIM with an L67 TB, and did many other things with all the efficiency most forums have come not to expect of me.

It'* not that I really am trying not to work on the 94. In fact, it'* just that I'm taking my time and trying things out for fun. I am sure I have failed in convincing people that my work ethic is reflected in the 99. Actually, some think it'* stock. No one really wants to believe that the 94 is owned by the same guy who has a 99 SLE that acts insanely and has not one full day been out of service due to work. I think it'* all the pictures that I have taken of the 94 in odd states of completion and disrepair that influence a lot of members to think of me as insane or at least lazy. The SLE paint job was done in one evening without a camera, so I'm kind of out of luck in convincing people I can actually paint things well. Actually, quite a few feats of mechanical glory have gone uncaptured by pictures, namely the Mercury Sable work. Oh well.

Anyway, back to the glory! Who has some awesome stuff to write about how cool it is that I'm here? Ego feeders only, please.

myfirstbonnie, I can apreciate your sentiment and the thread became a personal dialouge better left for PM'*. I have adjusted the thread in a manner I felt best, and it will remain so. Any problems concerns, do it in a PM. I dont like to lock threads and bring down the original intent.
