But, I did have a MustangGT cobra pull up to me once, it scared me. The rumble was bad enough, but there was a very pronounced whine coming from under the hood. I don't know what he had under there, but it was not happy and it wanted out. And to show me the rear bumper.

C'mon Dan, you aren't afraid of a little snake are ya?

Bout the only things I currently fear are the real GM 8 cylinders with a mod or two or a new snake mobile. The rest have their best WTF look on their face when I let them see that I am driving a Bonnie.

Trust me Bill, that GT was a monster. I could feel the horses under the hood. The sound sent a shiver up my spine. And I liked it.

the SVT cobras in 02-03 were supercharged... and mean... at least in comparison... still kinda slow next to a ss camaro or ws6 ta... but comeon

there is no replacement for displacement, but boosting is always sweeter

There are quite a few of the Mustang GT'* out there running the 4.6L'* with the Roush aftermarket */C and PCM tune offerings. Depending on the money they want to spend, Roush will deliver 445-510 HP in an easy bolt on package. RWD demons that give out solid spankings in the daily driver realm. If they would offer the package for my 4.6L, I would let squirrel put the Ford badge on my grill.

The car that put a shiver up my spine was a 73 Pantera. I was running a 375HP 350 in my 79 Camero and I could smoke the door handles off a 6.2 TA with that car. When the Pantera rumbled up to me I gave it the respect it commanded, I took a quick left hand turn and ran away like someone stole my lunch money!
