Default Painting my Exhaust Manifolds, and soon other things too!

Tomorrow I will be painting my exhaust manifolds. I bought some high heat black paint. Its rated for 1200 degrees. That should look need. I am spending some time now fixing up my engine area. Hope it looks good soon.

I also plan to paint the fuel injector rails black and then paint various other parts yellow. I bought a facy cap for the valve on the injector rail to make it look better.

I detailed the engine of my 85 GA. It was beautiful. It was teal with chrome covers on all the bolt and screws. I wish I had a pic of it. If my Bonnevilles engine come out looking half as nice as my GAs did I will be quite satisfied.

Yes I painted my exaust manifolds too, along with a lot of the engine. Here are some pics

Make sure you clean the manifolds very well. Are you going to take them off to paint them?? I didn't. I cleaned them off with a wire brush but it still has flaked off a bit. I'll have to do it again. And my paint was rated at 1500.

I know I know But those shots don't have the K&N in and I HAVE to show that baby off for a while.

Once I get better pics I'll put the engine back up, with the K&N logo too.

Thanks for the compliments by the way.
