question about injectors.
so i was trying to get the the root of why my car will randomly drop cyls 2 and 5 today and i was checking the coils because ive already replaced the plugs and wires about 6k ago. all the coilpacks were within the same area, .07ohms primary 5524ohms secondary. confirmed good by my dads car with only 70k.
anyway im thinking my next step is injectors. around the #5 injector there is a very faint smell of fuel so i figured id replace the orings on all the injectors. my question for you guys is, a) how the hell do i remove injectors (used to carbed cars) and b) should i just get a bottle of injector cleaner and seafoam or is there a way to clean the injectors with them out?
thanks alot for the help. making a second 511 mile trip each way to memphis this friday and i wasnt happy with the 28mpg avg.

If 2 and 5 are causing problems, then that'* your center coil. Swap the coils around. If the problem follows the coil, then the coil is bad. If not, then the ICM is bad.

well he thing is, i cant predict it lol. it just seems to start slightly harder than usual. like the first start of the day will take a little cranking but the second start regardless of time it will fire almost instantly. which makes me think fuel delivery

Check the fuel pressure, should be around 48psi with key on, and should hold that pressure for a while with key off. If the pressure drops then it'* leaking out.

ive put over 200k on most of my cars before the body falls apart and never replaced an injector, but ive gone through some coils. i would do what dan said its free and fairly easy and then youll know for sure.
