A few things confused me in the 93 SLE article. It mentioned having a different grill, but it is the same as the SSEi. And it made no mention of the SE or SSE. It looks just like an SE, except for grill, and has SSE options except for body cladding.

Doesn't the Monte Carlo have the same engine? NA and SCed?
Both the Monte Carlo, and the Impalla come standard with the 3400 V6 180 HP and 205 ft lbs of torque or can be optioned up with the 3800 II V6.... Your choice... I haven't seen where they have started using the SC'd 3800 yet.... But I though I have heard it mentioned that the Monte Carlo SS might have an SC'd version... I could have heard wrong.
Heres the Monte Carlo SS Supercharged right here........................... http://www.edmunds.com/new/2004/chev.....2.Chevrolet*

The SLE does have the same grill as the SSE(i), but it had a chrome outlinig on it. Most of the optins was ajust a package. They didn't have HUD or a compass. Not even the DIC (Driver Information Center). They did come in stadard 16 in wheels, leather, and some more options like the Computer Command Ride and some other stuff I can't remember. Anybody else mind filling the other blanks?

The front grill is not the same as the SSEi, the SSEi was body color and smaller. It had a slight opening just between the hood and the bumper to compensate for reduced airflow to the radiator. Look closely and you will see the difference. For 1993 it was an SLE specific grill that became standard for SE'* in 1994-1995.

I guess all GM brands have supercharged options now. Pontiac, Buick, Chevy, Olds and what else?

Cadillac doesn't.

As for the grill, does someone have pics to compare. This is something I have never noticed.

Pardon these pix if they don't look right or are doubles... My car domain has been messed up even after i redid it all...

Well my car has a High up butt.... Gives it a nice muscle car/90'* Impalla SS look..

I don't believe i have level ride or an air compressor. No air compressor in the trunk like the SSE i checked out had... I don't have any buttons next to my shifter though (although i don't want the damn things cause i don't want traction control, wait performance shift would be nice)

I'll take a pic of it on flat ground sometime this weekend i hope, smellbirds here was the best angle [/img]
