torque wrench questions
i am going to be needing a good torque wrench when i do my rockers and LIM... i was planning on renting from autozone when the time comes, but now that sears has them on sale, i want my own...
queston is, why would i buy an inch/lb over a ft/lb and vice versa...
intense'* directions for the rocker install state 25 ft lbs for the rockers and 89 inch lbs for the valve covers...
is it as easy as converting the inches to feet and using that number? so then the inch/lb would not work for the rocker job, correct, because it would only get to +/-20 ft/lbs
what to do?
Craftsman Torque Wrench, 3/8 in. Drive - 10 to 75 ft. lb
Craftsman Torque Wrench, 3/8 in. Drive - 25 to 250 in. lbs.
