so i was leaving my house today and saw a bonne with a soft top and i got mighty confused because i haven't heard of a bonneville convertable since the 60'*, any info??

probably just a viynal looking top. They arn't so popular anymore but used to be, esp in the 70'* and 80'* when they wanted to give off the perseption that it was a convertable but really isn't.
Did it look like this? This is what i'm talking about:

I've seen a couple Bonnies with the cloth tops. It decieved me at first.

I way to tell a convertable from a vynal top, is the convertable has the lines where the frame for the top sticks out. It is also not very smooth, while a vynal top is all smooth.

But also could be a hartd top where those lines would not be present......

Well, anyway, I don't like those soft tops! Somehow they don't look that hot.

Imagine if someone accidentaly spilled coffee on it!

Lakeville: that'* what I said. Vynal tops are smooth, convertable tops aren't.
