How do you get that certain Bonneville?
I don't understand.
I'm in the market for a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi, charcoal gray leather interior, and a sunroof, with all the options. Any exterior color is acceptable, has to been in good condition or above. Under 100,000 miles so I can change the LIM Gaskets to Aluminum.
I haven't found any at all. I want specifically a '99, I've been searching for almost 2 years now, sad I know, but I'm losing patience. Do people just end up with a certain Bonneville and are happy with that, or do people have years of searching and the right connections? I came upon my Bonneville by chance. I wanted it to be an SSEi, but I got an SE instead. There aren't too many SSEi'* that are in good condition anymore.
I just wanted to know how people ended up with the good Bonnevilles.

So maybe distance is my problem..? When I get back from basic training and AIT I want to get a new car, I'm thinking either another Bonneville or a newer Pontiac car.. I just don't know..

i found "my" bonneville from my girlfriend who was given the car from her aunt who was the original owner who drove it only to and from the grocery store. i was sooo close to getting it but that didn't happen. now, i can't find a bonneville to save my life. i've looked at a few but they're either totally rusted out or have other major major mechanical problems.

The 100K restriction is probably going to narrow your search. Most of these 10 year old cars were driven more than 10K a year. I bought mine at 133 and it has been great since. Changed to aluminums around 186

You know what I could do, Bill, is get an SSEi and get a new L67 engine and 4T65-HD transmission. Costly I know, but it would be downright worth it! Just something to think about.
