Electrical work EDIT: Thanks guys; I'm a dumbass
I don't believe this one myself. But while fixing the rear passenger reading light my battery died. My phucking battery DIES. Whose battery dies becuase of the dome lights!? The driving lights sucked just enough juice out of the battery to power up the instrument cluster and tell me, battery is dead. There isn't enough juice to start up and let it run for a while to recharge. I'm supposed to be giving rides to the Century/West Homecoming footall game, and I am so screwed! Its hooked up to the battery tender now but 15 minutes sure as hell won't be enough time to get a charge back on that battery. This f-in sucks.

Yep, my battery is less than 60 months old, and I can have the lights, stereo, and whatever other crap I have going on, for at least 2 hours, before the battery starts getting a little low, and its time for a charge.

Its been plugged in for 3 and a half hours and the battery tender is just now saying it is up to 80%. Funny, I'm still getting no response from keyless entry. I woulda jumped started it, but the Bonneville was on the right, the Avalanche on the left and the batteries were as far apart as can be. I'll give it one thing though, that is one heavy fricken sedan. I had to push it up the driveway to get to the extension cord. Oh well, this is one of those days I can look back on, laugh nervously and change the subject.
