If you had any kind of F/I I'd do boost - fuel pressure - wideband A/F (stock is going to do nothing for you). In my car I'm running a boost/vac - fuel pressure - volt ('92-'99 don't have volt) and soon to be trans ('92-'93 can't scan for temp) and Wideband A/F.
IMO gagues are not worthless......I have a NA and i have a Trans Temp, and a A/F ratio. I think both are good choices. I like to monitor trans temp, and the A/F to make sure the 02 is doin the job
