TB Clean, possible in 1 day?
I'm a newbie, and I really want to clean my TB, especially after how dirty my engine was/still is. Problem is, I'm working a lot this week and next, and the only time I have off more than a day is when I'll be slightly miserable (thank you super painkillers) from getting my wisdom teeth cut out.
So, I'm asking if anyone here thinks that it would be possible to clean my TB up and put it back on today by following the Techinfo.

The basics of it require draining about a 1/2 gallon of coolant (personally..I stick a piece of vacuum hose in the rad to siphon).
Removing the TB is 3 10mm bolts.. that are easy.. the only thing in your way is the side brace for the TB. I use a 8mm wrench coming up from under the crossover exhaust pipe to loosen the bottom one..then it'll swing out of the way..
That'* the worst of it.

For a 1st time, I'd guess a couple of hours - 30 to 45 minutes to figure out how to remove it, 25 minutes to clean it, and 20 minutes to reinstall it.

Yes you'll need a new gasket. A torque wrench is always a good idea, especially if you're a newbie and aren't comfortable with "feel."
I just slowly tighten them nice and tight with a ratchet. But the best advice is always to follow torque specs.

Oh...
HOLD on. I am on my company laptop with privacy filter..I thought your sig said 96. I see it says 92. This changes the removal slightly. I forget it there is a support on the tb. There is definately one nut that is going to be a pain. I used a shallow socket that has a universal built in to do one of these. Got it at Sears.. made the job go easy and quick. Meanwhile 1993 SLE aka Pat stood by fuming mad because he fought his in a parking lot w/o that universal.
