If I put that much work in my car, as you have Pat, then I'd run it into the ground. Not to mention that you sound VERY attached still (with good reason). I don't know your situation on why you're selling it, though...

The problem with selling is that if the owner wants to use it for a demo car, turn it into a toaster, or drive it off a cliff, you have to let them. You won't have any say in it, or control...

+1.... even though we dont know the reasons why, I do agree that there'* no way you can get out of it what you put into it. And I'm not talking about money here......

I dont think you should sell it. I think maybe you should take it home and bring the ssei and let the alien rest for awhile. Think it over because you have invested a lot of money in it and then decide. Once you sell it, the person who buys it can do whatever they want with the car. they could part it out, or just resell it. Think twice Pat!!!!!!!!!What are we going to do without alien going to the gp meets?lol

Pat, it was not my intent to cause you grief or upset you by starting this thread. It just shocked me to see your for sale thread. I know that your car is special, not only to you, but to many of us on BC. While not all we say will be exactly what you expected, this is how people see things, right or wrong.

I certainly hope you can sell it to someone here who will care for and appreciate it like you did, but that may or may not be in the cards. In any case, the Alien is always going to be remembered by many of us...

Thanks!
