Oppressed owners please take note
Odd thought hit me while replying to a Bob Dillion post about L36 upper intakes.
During the post he thanked me for helping find cores to sleeve.
I added the Morty and Bonne94SSEi assisted greatly with the endeavor. The intakes have been sent cost free with only shipping being reimbursed.
My thought hit me.
3 owners of supercharged car owners went to a junkyard for mainly one reason only. To pull as many L36 NA intakes as possible to help our friends here on the club.
Here at the club...we all strive to have a good time..and sometimes jokes about NA or SC have gone too far or been blown (hehehehe) out of proportion.....no matter what, club members come together to help each other.
Color, age, and NAtionality of car or owner has no bearing... We are members of the BonnevilleClub. I for one and proud to be here as a member of the club and friend to many that I have met here.
BTW L36 owners.. Morty, Pete and I perfected the removal process of the upper intake.
I undo the 10mm nuts holding the fuel rail, while Morty cuts the plastic fuel lines and Pete starts fighting that STUPID 8mm bolt holding the TB to lower intake.
Fuel is done and pulled off the top.
Then I yank the 8mm bolts holding the UIM to LIM while Morty cuts the wiring harness that goes over the TB/UIM area and Pete gets the UIM bolts at his end. and throttle/cruise cables.
Lift up UIM and look for the next victim.

Very good work guys. I know Bob'* biggest problem was low inventory. Now he has more to play with for his improved design.

Its actually alot of fun doing stuff like this with other people.
Just knowing that pulling a hunk of plastic and sending it off may save someone'* car from the junkyward makes the energy spent worthwhile.
