Default I need new tires...what to get?

Before the winter really hits and the roads here get dangerous, I need all four tires replaced (they would never pass inspection...they're sad). I like the OEM Goodyears, but they are so expensive and seem to wear very quickly. My sister and brother in law have the Firestone Affinities on their '04 Bonnie, and I like those, but I was wondering if there are any other suggestions out there for fairly priced all season tires with good grip and good wear. Thanks!

Michelin Pilot Sport A/* are great all season tires, almost a performance one. They are a lil more then the normal touring tire, but will be great all year 'round.

Those seem like a possibility...they are in the same price range as the Affinities. Thanks.

Are you looking specifically for winter tires or a good set of all season radials?

Definately all seasons...I can't afford to have two full sets of tires.

I really like the Pirelli P Zero Nero M/*. They are cheaper than the Mich'* and have a little better rating on tirerack.com. Check the link below:

You're certainly right that they got better reviews...and they're a heck of a lot cheaper. Thanks, I'm going to look into those.

i dunno dude, i used to sell those tires and they were extremely agressive, too much so for snow. But a heckuva good performance tire.
