You have an intake on your car? Cause usually you need one before you take out the maf screen cause the intake makes the air more laminar. I took mine out about a month ago and it idles kinda weird at first but the computer gets used to it after a little while and now its runnin good. Cant go wrong with a free mod...

Don't do it until you have a smooth pipe intake.

Motor mounts? You don't need those

Um, yes you can. Or at least I can. I gutted my airbaox, removed the screen, and nary a problem. Even put the screen back in for a while, to see if I was missing something. All I was missing was that extra little pull....

As long as your careful taking it out, it slips right back in if you're not happy with the results....
