Default F-150 vs. Civic

Repost by request... someone must have been amused.

I had Daddy'* 95 Ford F-150 in DeKalb because I was picking up a Christmas tree for my boss. So I'm sitting at this stoplight in this beautifully maintained pretty red truck and this dumbum Civic with an automatic floors it when the light turns green. The next stoplight he does the "call me" hand signal, winks, and revs his engine.

Nobody hits on Christy like that and gets away with it.

And did I mention that daddy'* shiny truck has a manual? Revved mine, he revved his back, and we took off at the light. Kicked the snot outta him. He didn't have a chance. Ever seen someone chirp tires on every shift in a PICKUP TRUCK???

Conveniently, it was the last stoplight in town, so the speed limit increased and the lanes merged so he was stuck behind me. And for some odd reason, he hung WAY back all the way to Malta.

slightly more details this time around.

The new F-150'* are something nice, indeed. But the new Nissan truck can give an SSEi a run for its money

My dad had a manual F150 back in the day. I think that was the first car I ever drove. Definitely a sweet truck ... I miss that thing.
