Yea the resesitor. The alarm shop said that i would need to pay an additional 150 to install my alarm after they take it off my 97 bonnie because it has anresistor in the black part of the key not the metal where their usually at.

the 2000+ models use the pass key III system. This system uses a radio transponder inside the key instead of the chip.
