Default Future for the L67?

Seeing that GM is not offering an L67 in the BOnne this year, and the L67 in the Monte SS is gone next year in place of a 350, wha'ts going to happen to the L67? Is it just going to left in the Regal, Impala, and Series III version in the GTP? I hope that GM would never get rid of a good idea like this motor in the future. I've heard talk of a N/A 3.6 liter coming into production in place of the 3.8. No more pulley swaps...

So will the L67 be around in a few years or is GM gonna throw in the towel?

It'* a goner in the next few years. They only way to get an L67 now is in a Chevy.

EDIT: I think you can still get it in Buicks.

It might not be coming out new, but it will always be around. It is going to end up as one of those legendary engines, like the Chevy 350, or the Hemi. They will be around for many years to come.

I think that might have been a typo. They probably meant a 3.6L

the DOHC 3.9 is a 60* engine, based off the 3.5, and it'* got the same basic output as an L67. This will make the C6 a rocket, 3/4 sunroofs and all.

The L67 is basically done with, the L32 is it'* replacement.

MC'* are most likely getting the 5.3L just like the GP GXP. not a 350 (5.7L).

the Regal is gone this year, so no more L67 there.. The SSEi uses a V8 now, no more L67 there.. The only L67'* left are the GTP, Impala SS, and Monte Carlo SS..

It'* no typo. The 3.9L is coming. DOHC 60*, like Jason said.
