Default Plans to hold on to those pontiacs?

I was talking with some friends this weekend and we all came to the conclusion that since pontiacs discontinuance, some of these cars are gonna be pretty much collectors items 10 or so years down the line. I was just curious how many of you guys had plans to keep your bonnies FOREVER.lol I can totally see myself buyin a little clunker to drive back and forth to work, and puttin the bonnie under a car cover and reserve her for weekend driving. What r u guys thoughts?

I am the original owner of my 2001 SSEi. I don't know if I will keep it forever, but I will probably drive it until it dies. I already have another car for modding and casual driving. I don't think the wife would let me have two.

Love the comments guys. I just cant help but think about how rare are cars will be down the line and what reaction we'd get every time we would take em out on the road. There would actually be people that would say, "what in the world is that thing?" LOL

True, at least there are right now. but how many people take care of theres like we do? I mean a lot of the ones out there now, could be scrap in the next 6 or 7 years.

I have gotten a new car to keep my GXP mileage down (47,000Z) and enjoy the full 7 years of my 7/70 Warranty. It'* mod'* and uniqueness have made it a "Sunday car " I plan to keep to the grave. But in the numbers game, Bonnevilles of the last 20 years aren't going to make them collector items untill your to old to care. LOL. Granted, they will be just as different then, as seeing a 50-60'* acars rolling today through town on a Sunday afternoon. But I can pick those up at auto shows in $5-20k range all summer long. Our cars will never attain the prices given for say a 1968 "frame off" restoration of a Camaro RS/SS. Those cars were built in the days when bigger city Dealers could special order them and market them. And their production numbers don't compare.
