YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! rant!
so everybody knows that the van'* transmission died a few weeks back, yesterday'* awesome news was the purchise of a '93 lesabre.
TODAY THE TRANSMISSION WENT.
you've got to be kidding me! just one friggin time i'd love something to work in my favor. once. i haven't had this car 24 hours and it'* dead, and i could be out $700. and of course i'm rolling in money. $700 is nothing to a big shot like me.
so the search begins again.
$20 to the first person who kills me.

Oh, that just sucks giant big ones!!!
I'm VERY sorry Marick. I was realy hoping that you had caught a break with this car. Plus, I thought it was going to be only $500.
Any remote chance that your seller (old boss) will take pity on you and either help with the repair/replacement or give your money back? I know that'* an extremely long shot and unlikely, but he HAD to have had some idea that things weren't right, IMO.

sorry to hear this :(
if i were you i would try to get the cash back, because the previous owner would have had to know there was something wrong if it blew within 24 hours

Did you buy it from a dealer or an individual?? I went through this with a vehicle a few years back. Luckily, I was working for a lawyer at the time. He told me all dealerships fall under the 30 day lemon law (even with those "As Is, No Warranty" stickers). Individuals, however, do not....
Good luck either way.
You wanna borrow this.......???

yeah, hook me up with that sign.
my old boss is gonne take the car and give me the money back, however the dealership he used to make the sale is going to keep the $200 in dealer fees. he'* getting som eother cars in today and told me i can take one of them instead... no money out of pocket.
hopefully he'* getting something worthwhile in today. i know he'* got a catera! that'd be neat to have. i think.
but yeah... lemme get that sign.

Sorry about your luck with transmissions. I know the feeling all too well.

I'll second what Brad just said. Opel makes some excellent cars in Europe, but the rebadged Opel that was the Cetera was not one of those.
On the other hand, right now I know you have limited choices, so you gotta do what you gotta do.
Let us know how it turns out.

Alot alike those two were. Very beautiful to look at and touch...but a pain in the a$$ to keep around, money hungry, and spent more time away from you than with you in some other garage, usually with parts showing.
