Default Anyone Want to Help Me Fix My Car and....

Not to far from (like 2 hours away) the Illinois/Wisconsin Border? I'm tired of everything wrong with my car and not being able to fix it (I'm fixing handicapped)
Stuff I need fixed (minor and moderate)

Fixing sunroof leak(*)

Putting the sunroof door back on below the glass (gets fawking howt)

Dash gauges are oxidied (sp)

The inflator for the seats isn't working (just a loud noise when pushing buttons)

Weather Stripping is damaged in alot of places (car was vandalized when I bought it)

Light not working in the trunk

The o2 sensor circuit is open/shorted (theres a wire thats taped together and have no idea what needs to be done about it.

The little light that says what shift your in isn't working.

Also some regular matienence stuff like a tune-up, switching the oil to Synthetic, and chenging the supercharger oil.

Now I'm NOT saying ALL of this stuff has to be done, But I'd like to do as much as possible. I will travel to the location and pay for all the stuff needed for the work and I also would like to get hands on and learn about these cars. So if anyone has some time to kill in the near future and would be curious/interested in helping me hit me with a PM. I would be really grateful to anyone that can help me.....

I live in Barrington. We could hook up on the weekend or something. What exactly are you looking to fix?

Ahh so you are just north of Rockford. Thats an hour away from here.

You got quite a list there and im not sure I can tackle all of them. The tune-up stuff is easy, oils and other stuff. O2 sensor is part of a tune-up so taking care of that circut should be ok, trunk light sounds easy. Im not sure about the leaks, it sounds like your drain tubes just need to be cleaned/re-attached. Im not sure about the seat inflator, though I do think there was a thread about it a while ago, so do a search on that. And fixing oxidized gauge contacts would be hard since that involves taking apart the dash. But looking through your list I think we can tackle most of them.

Hopefully some Rockford locals will chime in.

If you can't get it arranged with anyone closer, let me know. If you can come here, I may even have some free parts for you if I have them and you need them.
