Default 00+ seats

Just wondering if anybody can tell me how much better are the 03 seats compared to the 01'* or if they are even better? To me from pictures, they look alittle more luxury and look more comfortable.

I've sat in both..and my opinion is backwards of most. I got a backache in the 03'* of Cfoote'* Aurora (same as 03 bonne). Meanwhile..i've driven a decent amount in the 00'* and never had a complaint.

the 03 Seats are a little "Firmer" than the Seats in the 00-02....i actually like them alot once they are adjusted (and then you program it into memory and never worry again)

The quality of the materials was stepped up in the 03+ seats for Bonnevilles. The stitch pattern is the same that was first seen in the Classic Aurora, and I have a ton of baised literature about how superior the design of those seats are. From experience they are a bit more soft (in the Classic Aurora) then the 2nd gen seats, which then made their way to the Bonneville in 03. However I do not know if the Bonneville had the lumbar adjust option.

The advantages: better material, better longevity, look great
The disadvantages: lack of bolstering side support.

Question to Boost who complained about the seats in Cfootes Aurora....did you adjust the lumbar properly? I've sat in the 2nd gen Aurora seats and they are not as nice as the Classic seats. I've found that proper lumbar (both upper and lower) made a world of difference.

Being 5'8" I really didnt like the seats in my 94 SSEi when I had it, despite the side bolstering. The Aurora seats were just so much more inviting once the SSEi was gone, and seemingly more suited for my height.

i love my seats... i have sat in both the new and older ones, and i have no real preference.... if you adjust the seat correctly, it will feel great. I have the newer seats being an 04 and I love them... I sat in tracy'* car and i loved the old seats...

either way... seats are seats if you adjust them right.

I have to admit though, the older ones feel like the wrap around your body a little more than the newer

just my 2 cents
