the reason you didnt feel anything tell higher RPM is cuz of the VTEC and Hondas have a power band just like the 2cycle motors (well kinda)

Update, my "die hard" pontiac friend picked-up his new Acura TL yesterday - for the first 24 hours, apparently the best car he has ever owned! I am still having trouble coming to grips with this turn of events - however when I park my Bonneville next to his, I would take my car anytime but I am quickly coming to the conclusion, that my preferences are now in the minority. I cannot help but be concerned about the future of the Bonneville - the executive rocket ship might soon have its last landing! Let'* enjoy while we can...

The Acura TL is a heck of a car for the money. People on the BMW forums are really debating spending $60k for a 5 series or $35k for a TL. While it has some cheap interior bits, the TL is a very nice car for that price range. Acura has done well on this one....

You cant take a bad experience with one car and assume that ALL other cars like it are bad, thats horrible logic. There are good cars and there are bad cars, you could get the top rated model in the market and it could still screw up on you.

First I will start by saying I love both my bonnies. I do however own a 1991 Toyota pickup that I have had for 4 or 5 years. It has like 269,000 miles on it and still runs like a champ. I love driving stick shift also. I only use the pickup now to pull my camper or if we need to haul something. My boss drives an Acura and has had to have more repairs like tranny replaced 2 times in the past year and the car is a 2002-2003. I would rather have my bonnies over any other vehicle. Part of the reason I decided to buy the first bonnie was that I was driving the pickup everyday to work, flying down the highway at 70 mph and realized if I had an accident I would be dead for sure. I got the bonnie and fell in love! My steering wheel has the buttons to control radio and temperature, I even have a steering wheel dimmer button on it. I love the dic and wouldn't trade the car for nuthin'
