No the best of meals but filling none the less...
So I was on my way home this afternoon. I get to my favorite stretch of road, which occasionally doubles as the "car lots" driving area. As I get around a bend and merge onto the main road I rolled up next to several cars. Being in the right lane with noone in front of me, I ended up next to ..... an RSX, brand spanking new from the dealer with of all things... some relatively young punk with a ***** haircut, and two of his buddies.
I started messing with the radio and between changing stations, heard this revving. I looked over at the guys and the RSX and one of them yells "hey wanna run em?" I tried, as hard as I could.. honestly tried to keep a straight face...
I busted out laughing the minute the driver inched forward!
I guess this made him pissed off becuase he wouldn't look at me anymore and his friends were tossing insults. Then just before the cross traffic light went red, revved the engine to 3k and looked over and shook my head as in "you don't know what you started" kinda thing.
Light drops and I get some wheel spin... and as everyone knows, lots of it at 6k, shifting to second at 8, busting some wheelspin all the way through second... all the while pulling away from them.... shortly hitting 8k and going to third, got mad traction and pulled away from them pretty harshly.... Homeboy still working through second with one wheel spinning...
I must have put two bus lengths on them by the time I hit top of fourth!
Breaking real hard with the 4ways on, I slowed for the next light about 1/2 mile from where we started... and waited for my "competition" to arrive...
They rolled up next to me speachless...
I turned to the passenger who was staring at me with a "WTF just happened?" look on his face, and said "I'm sorry, wanna run em again.. silly me had the parking break on!"

Best story ever.
I wanted to race some souped Honda DOHC today, but I didn't get chance to. (I was at the drag strip).
If I had pulled off one of my better runs I coulda beat him. He was run' mid to high 15s.
