Default wheel bearings, good price

ok, so i replaced a front wheel bearing on my 02 ssei this weekend (read all about it in the forums) and got the part from rlalone1544 on ebay. the bearing was about 86 bucks and shipping brought the total up to 105 even. so far it seems like a good part, nice and quiet it weighs about twice the original, and seems very sturdy all around. this is a lot cheaper than parts stores, so i figured i would let you all know.

Double the weight? Isn't that a bad thing?

if youre really worried about adding 4 pounds, i guess. i was more concerned with the quality of the part, and it just feels stronger i guess.

Well, the heavy part isn't what would really need to be higher quality. It'* the bearings inside that fail.

well sure, but sometimes you can just tell that a part is of better quality by how it feels in your hand. im not saying the wieght determines how good a part is, im just saying that for the most part something built better tends to wiegh a little more, unless youre getting into light weight alloys and fancy **** like that.

Hey now, just because I drive a cav doesn't mean I am a ricer. No I don't think the lighter wheel bearing will help your quarter mile times.

I'm worried about unsuspended weight. You might be surprised how big of a difference a few unsuspended pounds can make in handling.
