What is this 180-T thing that you guys are pimping?
1. What is that? Is it good? Can I add it to my bonneville easily?
2. Does anyelse'* FUEL gauge MOVE from left to right and never show the Correct level of gasoline? I once drove to Canada (from NY) and I got 445 miles on the tank, but I was angry beacuse I really didn't think I was out of gas since the gauge was moving so much I could have gotten another 20-25 miles on it. :o But my passenger surged me to fill up again, and they ruined my dream of seeing how far this baby can go :( Is there a fix to it? My mechanic doesnt want to hear about it... but I'm kinda angry because it'* such a basic thing in this car that no one even cares about
3. Which K&N Filter is a good thing for my Bonneville? I heard that K&N replacement filters let more air and particles in while it really does not help it out. Is this false and if it is... is it a good viable option?
(sorry I have lots of questions about my bonneville... I had it since 99 and theres so much for me to learn...

)For the K&N, use part number 33-2086, but read the article in Techinfo on airbox mods/maf screen removal. You'll end up with a custom intake and cone filter, so you may want to skip the cheaper options for now. Do the Tstat and tranny cooler FIRST.

Depends on the year and model you have 
Put that in your signature. The 92 SSE and SSEi began the trend from Pontiac with a stock Transmission cooler, and it continued until 1996 I think. I know the 97 didn't get one. The transmission is the weak point in the drivetrain. Protect it by cooling it before any other mods.
An additional benefit is to your engine coolant. Your transmission fluid is passing through your radiator. This can raise your coolant temps and increase your operating temps, adding risk to the plastic upper intake (if you're not supercharged) and decreasing efficiency.
I have a 1993 SSEi, so I have the stock transmission cooler already, but I still added one. I now also have a transmission temperature gauge, so I can watch it. I'm damn glad I added the cooler.
