Go for it! Chrome will make anything look better. And the tires will fit fine, since there is only 10mm difference in the width... but when it comes time to replace them, I'd go with 235'* so everything is lined up again.

Agreed. As they say, wider is better.
(unless you're in the white stuff, but that'* besides the point)
