Anyone have a current Carfax subscription? Need a VIN run...
Subject line says it all. If you're able to run a Carfax report, please contact me via PM.
Dad'* looking at a non-GM brand (Audience: BOOO!) (but to be fair, he _did_ have a nice '78 Delta 88 that he owned for years and years) which I will not identify but which we will refer to by the initials B.M.W.
Anyhow, the car'* apparently exceptionally nice for its age ('96) and mileage (<50K) but the dealer, despite being one of the largest in the Chicago area, can't seem to turn up a Carfax printout on it. Dad was given an Experian/ADT printout instead, but I'd feel better getting a listing from a disinterested third party instead.
Those of you who work at dealerships: Aren't you pretty much all Carfax subscribers by now? I'm finding this a little hard to believe, but have the car'* VIN so I can do my own checking. TIA...
