the GXP has a different set of taillights as apposed to the SE and the SLE

My Bonneville is a regular SE.

Just got back from the Pontiac dealer. $31,500 for a 05 GXP with 4,000 miles. What do you guys think? I think it'* a rip off.

You could always get an 03 SSEi and with proper mods could be as fast or faster than a stock WS6

But only in a straight line, and the Bonneville is still FWD :(

I say 31K for a GXP with 4K is out-right "RAPE".
There is a Crimson Tintcoat 05 GXP with 8k on it at a dealer in Minneapolis and they 'only' want $24K for it. And I bet with a little haggling someone could probably get it for around $20-22k.

Also, as far as trading or selling the TA -sell it. The dealer most likely will only give you about 50-70% of what you could get for it selling it yourself.

Not to mention the Bonnevilles are becoming a dime a dozen....WS6s (not to mention 'Hawks!! ) are holding their value much better.

If you need 4 doors, you need 4 doors. I'm just saying its possible to have 4 doors and the performance of a WS6 in the same car.

Yeah, there was a 1995 Firebird Firehawk with 6-spd in the local classifieds paper last week. Didn't have a price so I had to call for curiosities sake -heck for all I knew they might have thought it was just a V8 Firebird (although 99.9% of F-body owners probably know what a Firehawk is).
Turns out it was a low-mileage, one owner car and they were ONLY asking $22k.

Um, Yeah, that'*, just slightly out of my budget.
