It'* not that bad since I got a new 1/2" airgun with 500lbs of torque.

Last thursday evening..I did a transmission service.
Here'* the pan.. had one service in it'* life and is now receiving them yearly. I'm considering having the fluid flushed to get the rest of the dirt out instead of doing it yearly.... 153K on this trans and still running strong.

Nice shot here of that famous engine mount stud that needs to come out when changing the SC belt on a Series II;



I had to modify the steel spacer between the mount and the block on mine because I mounted an 04 style AC compressor, it has no brackets and mounts directly to the block...right where that spacer goes, had to turn it down the thickess of the mounting ear on the compressor.

One side note...the Bolts for the puller and NOT a common size found at the Local Parts Stores....the ones that we picked up at TSC were a little too short causing a stripped bolt.... an emergency run to the Advance at 9:15 ( after they were closed....gotta love having friends that are employees) got us the correct parts

We put the call into Bob to look up Willwrens'* bolt size post and then picked those up. Yeah..one was short...we had to get a longer one after hours....lol

Oh..school is still in.. she'* running like a champ and I got it a CASE learn (crank position learn for the PCM) the very next morning.

Then called my buddy and told him of the good news. I'm sure he smiled.

Oh, okay. I thought you got a case of beer, how silly of me. I guess it is required to have a case learn procedure accomplished with the new CKP sensor. How long does that take, Bill? And what is needed, a tech II?

Thats looking well for the mileage and the mods done to the car, its held up REALLY well..
I could only hope mine makes it that far, but..who knows?

I was impressed with how simple the CASE learn is..

Being that this was my first time.. don't quote me that these are the only steps. However on a Snap On Scanner tool, equivalent of a Tech 2...

You simply select the learn process and follow the instructions.

Set brake
Leave in neutral or park
blah blah don't this or that
Ok..bring it up to fuel cut off..then let off pedal.
Vrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrooooooom splat (fuel cut off)
Screen says "successful"..

I holler to mechanic friend... "That'* it?" He looks over.. "yep"
