Default Need a pic of 92 L27 w/ EGR

The title says it all, I just want a picture for reference if anyone has a 92 (L27) with the EGR valve on it. I ask because even though willwren'* description in techinfo is detailed, but I don't understand it, and I dont want anything on my engine to burn .

Look at an underhood pic of the Zilla. You'll see a mushroom looking thing somewhat forward from the throttlebody. That'* the EGR. Same location on a 92 L27 IF it got one (late production).

In general, if you had the magnavox (square) coil and aluminum upper, you likely didn't get an EGR (there was no provision for an EGR inlet on the 92 aluminum upper). It feeds out of the front exhaust manifold just to the right of runner #5 as you face the engine. The EGR bracket is mounted to the driver'* end of the front cylinder head.

180° thermostat, and flush your cooling system. Keep it in good shape. You'll be ok. If you doubt it, do a compression check and see how it is right now.
