Default Fall build

Ok, I know I haven't even finished my spring build, but I got a great deal on this and couldn't pass it up.

Darn near killed myself getting it out of the trunk. Sure was easy putting it in, with a helper.

Looks like a had a body in the trunk. Guess I better not leave that in there.

Pulled a few pits out to lighten the load when I pulled it from the trunk.

All back together and in the corner.

Plan to get started on that after the spring build. I'm going to clean it all up and get a good coat of paint on it to make it pretty. I plan to upgrade to a 2750 torque converter, change the input shaft, more then likely change the clutches and bands, and change the gears. Think I may upgrade the axles as well. Plan to install in October, unless the trans in my car has other ideas.

EP has been very slow on their diff'*...or they didn't like Wren. His 4T60 diff took then nearly a year to build.

Looking good Dan.. but please wiggle and push on the torque converter ...it looks like it'* not fully seated.

I just stuck it on there, I didn't even try to seat it. Now I need to watch for a set of gears. Any suggestions on the ratio? 3.29:1? Is it worth the extra $ to go with the 15/16 chain?

You may want to think about possibly bending the pump shaft or causing problems from hanging it incorrectly over a period of time. I would be concerned.

On chains, you'll want to read this thread about gear changes at BonnevillePro. Good info about the 15/16" and other options.

I went out to the shop and took the TC off and set it down. Everythings frozen out there and I slid nearly all the way to the shop.
