Bonneville vs. Celica
I actually knew the guy who was driving the celica. It was a in-town beating to say the least. I will admit the celica was nice, but had just above a 2.0 with an exhaust and wing. I do have a wing on mine, but it'* not bulky and it fits my car just right. The light turned green and I was off like a bat out of hell before he knew what was going on. Not mine best kill but it was satisfying.

Is it the stock spoiler (ie 87-91 SSE style)?
Or an aftermarket option? That spoiler is not going to add any serious downforce pressure to increase performance, its a cosmetic thing.
I'd like to see this 90 SE, considering I had an 89 SE

Nope it isn't a stock spoiler, it'* an aftermarket V-racing spoiler. I understand it isn't adding any serious downforce, considering my car is front wheel drive, it just fits the car you know what I mean. I do notice a lil downforce, but your right it is mostly a cosmetic thing, but a good cosmetic thing. I have seen some ugly *** wings on some really nice cars so I tried not to be one of those people.

Yeah I am not for loud exhausts because they don't do anything, just make a car sound bad *** when it isn't. As for spoilers, I have all brand new suspension so I don't really notice the extra weight, but I was surprised how good the wing looked. But it isn't about the wing, even though it looks pretty damn good for a late model bonneville, I am planning on taking it off when I paint it.

exhausts dont do anything? might wanna research that comment a little. an opened exhaust system will give you more HP as well as give you better gas mileage. can you wing do that? not tryin to sound smart-alecy either.

Its a balance of opening up the exhaust and yet keeping backpressure. And yes you can gain 10HP from a properly fitted exhaust system. And that doesn't include internals
