my weekend
had a fun weekend with the bonnie so I thought I'd post a couple pics. Friday night was my high school band concert, I was in it and a couple friends came and watched. we left there and met up with a couple more friends at about 10:00. we live in a pretty rural area and there are bunch of sand dunes close to my house where people go to party, make bonfires and stuff. we decided to go out and screw around for a couple hours, the area we went to is pretty easy to get to, even with cars (I had a friend with a slightly lowered 86 camaro that had no problem getting there) except for a part about 20ft from the main road. It had rained about 3-4 days earlier, and all but this certain part was dry. this had 2 or 3 ruts about 8-10in deep. I was in the lead, I was doing okay until the front wheels slipped and I high centered about 6 feet off the edge , but my back tires were still on solid ground. we sat there trying to decide what to do (we had my car, a 95 accord, and an 88 accord :P ) and this guy comes up with his truck and pulls it out. we then proceded on and had no more problems. I took these saturday morning. guess i need to take a full side shot though.
(the passenger side front wheel was in a puddle)
the whole underside is now tan, and I noticed the whole passnger side under the front bumper is covered in mud too. I also somehow manged to fling mud all over the roof.

unfortunately most areas around here aren't too friendly to cars. :( I've been looking at smaller suv'*/trucks lately and have about decided to go with an 01ish explorer sport trac. now all I need is money. :P
