Default my stock car

EDIT: it wasnt my intention, but this may have turned into a "performance mod" thread. if it did, im sorry. mods can feel free to move it to the appropriate forum with my sincere apologies.

well, im finishing up my tails today and tomorrow (pics will be up sometime next week). so, ive owned the car since about october, and in that time, ive cleared the headlights (plus silverstars), cleared the taillights (plus silverstars), tinted the taillights, and removed the rear bonneville badge. im almost out of ideas for appearance mods. im left with painting the calipers, clearing the pontiac arrowhead, filling in the word "Pontiac" on the rear bumper, and a moonroof at some point in time.

that leaves... performance mods?

but i know next-to-nothing about engines. therein lies the problem. im learning about engines, and i think i get the gist on most of it. heres my list (in the order i think ill do them):

ive decided on:
FWI
y-split dual exhaust
brakes (before i paint the calipers)

im not certain on:
Series III engine + SC swap
other engine mods after this...

so, on a couple of these, ill need help. due to my inexperience, ill need help on the FWI and painting the brakes. ill be paying to have someone else do the "dual" exhaust and new brakes. FWI seems to be the consensus for the best intake for my body style, and on my 96 bonne i had the dual exhaust from a camaro put on.
as for the engine swap... im a ways away from that point and i plan on looking into it, and my mind isnt made up. my theory is that the series 3 SC is what the bonnes shouldve had anyway. but dont tell me how feasible or unfeasible this is right now, please. ill ask that and do what i can to figure it out when it gets to that point. id rather not discuss that in this thread.

so, who wants to help?

well there is always neon for appearance mods too....

Installation of the FWI is super easy, there are enough pics on here to show you exactly what to do

before i swap the engine i would look into performance parts for the Series2....and just an FYI...the Series 3 makes the same HP as the Series 2 for the NA cars....so there is really no advantage except for the UIM on the Series 3.....but that has been adapted to Series 2 on a few GP'*

Serie III engine have to much power management in their PCM, i would recommend staying with serie II L67 and start from there.
