My oil changes, should I?
Keep changing the oil every month using valvoline synthetic blend or should I use full synthetic and change it every two months??? Keep in mind I am a maintenance-o-holic. Just wondering what you all think I should do.

I think that'* a bit extreme, members here are going farther and farther with synthetic, many are working on 7k miles now for changes. It is still perfect after those times too.

This friday when I put my trans cooler on will be the 3rd time I changed the trans fluid in the 3 months I owned the car. I dont plan to change that again though till after next summer.
My caravan had 190,000 miles on it, if it wasn't for my over-maintenance ways I dont think it would still be going. (some poor sucker in cleveland oh. has that now)

Unless those miles are stop and go (which with that milage i doubt they are) you're changing it too much. Same with the tranny fluid, i'm not sure, but don't these lubricants kinda 'break in' first?

I know I know. But still, I just like the fact that the oils always clean, kinda like I like the fact when I'm wearing clean underwear, you know, Its a good feeling.

I am undecided though in if I should do that or keep to what I have been doing. I would change my oil with fully syn. every month as well, but I and gots the funds for that.
