Sent an Email off..STEAMING PILE OF CRAP SSE...
To Wiedner Chevrolet, a dealer 20 kms north of Red Deer.
Drove out there tonight and took a second peek at a car i looked at a month ago
1994 Bonneville SSE, green on gold. Missing windisheild trim, some rust spots, most of the paint is gone on the front bumper (rock chip heaven) Interior looks a bit stained and what not, HOWEVER, This wouldn't take much (astetically) to get back into prime shape, as the paint looks excellent, diamond in the rough for lack of better words..
Tires are good all around has a CD changer of sorts in it, stock radio, CCR, which i will assume does not work at all..
I asked them what its worth...it looks really out of place at this dealership.
I would take it for 500 canadian..if it runs and drives good..hard to say, might have high miles, dealer was closed, so i couldnt even start it up or anything..
Might make me a good winter car, parents are going to be selling the Alero, and I still have plans for my 1993 this winter..
Hmmm...wish i had my camera, looks kind of sad right now..lol

just bust in there and say "look i have seen this car on the lot for x months and I know it is not going to sell" Therefore I have 500 cash I will give you right now to get it off your lot. If not thats good I'm out of here.
btw pat here it is like $20 more a month for premium if you are driving quite a few miles. so not a great argument IMO.
but that price seems way too cheap!
The one and only SSE I have seen here sold for 6 grand and it was a 96 with 140k. holes in seats too from AL7s.
$500 seems like a steal for a car that is probably worth at least 1500 in running condition.

i could live with 7% tax on a 500 dollar car though I think..
Depends on how bad they want it gone, considering, they probably didnt pay anything for it

He said the trade in was about $700-$800. Either he was being a complete ***, or they paid way too much for a car that wasn't worth it.

UPDATE
in my extream unhealtyness and boredness i took off to go look at it durning business hours..
Salesman said "your just kinda lookin to pick something up bone cheap to use in the winter?"
Opend it up, Peach airfreshners are ******* sick...HOWEVER interior, suprisingly is pretty good, no tears in the seats or anything..carpet is fairly stain free.
Pioneer 6 disk fm modulated CD player
Car has 243,000 kms on it 151,800 miles...
I do belive it has the plastic intake..which..wouldnt intimidate me to change if i had to, oil is pretty clean..new belden wires and autolite plugs..Trans needs a flush, however, fluid isn't burnt...recent tune up included cooling system flush as well...
They have no price on it, offers only, and, im the only person to look at it since this winter, which is why the battery was dead, he is going to charge it for me all day tomorow so i can look at it on Saturday and actually drive the car..
from the looks of it, they would let it go for 500 cash, out the door, off the lot, out of sight.
They don't want that car there much longer.
