Default My car and I are sick

What a crappy last 24 hours. First of all, I got stupid summer cold that is soooo dumb.

Then coming home from work last night around 11pm my car died on me, going down hill. So, I mashed on the brakes to stop (no power) and pulled over. When I tried starting it back up, it would not turn over at all. Gave it another 5 minutes and no luck still, so I called my father. When he got there to help me, it turned over for him, but then it died when I got to my house again and wouldnt start up. Long story short, the car is now at a mechanic and he said first thing he noticed was that the fuel pump needs to be replaced. After that, he will get to the check engine light that has been on. Ill keep it updated when I hear new stuff about it.

So I called the shop this morning. Guy tells me the new fuel pump is working fine without any glitches, but the car still stalled on him. He is on the phone with the Compustar Security dudes in CA, since he might believe its related to that. I had that system for a year now without any problems, but who knows.

Could be your coil pak. I had the same thing happen out of the blue especially on very hot days. replaced the coil pak and she'* run fine ever since!

I despise being sick in the summer months especially! I'm sorry your car is giving you grief as well.

Well its Tuesday, and they are still stumped on it. Im not exactly sure what the hell they are doing, since its been in the shop since last wednesday. They keep on insisting its my Compustar Alarm/Starter that has been installed for a year causing those problems, and they keep calling the company to discuss it with them. I told them about the coil pack problem but not sure if they acknowledged me on that.
