Sorry that happened jachin! Same thing happened to Alien too. Hope you can find whoever did it and get him to pay for it. If there'* a witness, bring him to small claims court if you can prove who did it. Hope you get it fixed soon.

ISTR that you have to remove the outside trim surround to take the glass out and reinstall it. I can check the manuals if you're still needing to figure out exactly how to install it.

You might also want to get yourself a little 12-volt LED and install it somewhere as a visual deterrent. It doesn't have to be a genuine alarm, after all, just something to keep the bad guys guessing and help them move on to another car.

Come to think of it, don't you have a factory security system on that car? It didn't go off?

Reconnect the battery, lock the car from outside with a key and see if the Security light comes on solid for 20 seconds after the car is closed up. (You can also press the inside Lock button as you get out, as long as the driver'* door is open at the time.)

If the Security light looks good, leave a window open as you do this, then after the Security light finally goes out, reach in from outside, unlock a door from the inside and open it. You should get a nice sound-and-light show when you do this. (Remember to let the Security light time out -- about 20 seconds or so -- before trying to open a door.) You can stop all the honking and flashing by turning on the ignition with your key.

If the above doesn't work for some reason, get back to us.
