First my trunk release on driver'* door isn't working. Second the digital compass doesn't seem to work. It only says calibrating on it.

For the trunk release, open your trunk manually with your key and look forr the on off switch. Turn the switch off oh I'm sorry unlock. Then you should be able to use the switch on the door. Even the keyless entry should work. For the compass, go to your manmually and according to were you stay at set the compasss to the code you live in. THen set the compass to calibrate then do some cicles in the parking lot under 10 mph until the compass stops calibrating( The calibrate sign goes off) THen the compass is set!

Thanks man...But I dont have the friggin manual. And yeah I remember hitting some switch in my trunk too, so thats probably the trunk swithc isnt working. Do you know if all Bonnevilles have the same owners manuals? Like do all 97'* use the same one? I;m gonna try to hook one on ebay.

Yes they are. I wish he had this stuff earlier instead of me buying a manual on the side from the dealer.
