i have always had the airbag light on in my car. i think i have narrowed it down to the computer under the passenger seat getting wet and corroded to being the problem. the problem is i do not remember what it looks like exactly. the included pics are the best i have. there is an ebay seller selling parts from a 92ssei and he is selling everything. i shot him an email about that part i needed, and he said it is listed. can someone help me out here, i cant see something close..

its the silver box right where the passenger seat would be with the yellow wires coming out of it

I could be wrong, but I don't think the SIR computer is under the seat in a 92.

I don't think so either. It should be above the passenger footwell, but I might be wrong. I'd have to look it up to be sure.

It'* not under the seats on the 93 so you are right. This was discussed a while back and the gereral concensus was that 95 was the first year on the under-seat modules.

so i have to find a unit from a 95...and only a 95...sweetness..

Randman sent me a scan just now on Email. There are several components that could be your problem, but the 'main brain' is near or next to the PCM. Your fault indication could be caused by SEVERAL devices though. Just keep that in mind. NONE of these components are on the floor anywhere in the car. Not for your year anyway.

what do you make of the pictures then. the silver box was damp with water when i took my carpet out, and there is corrosion all over, so i just figured that would be the first shot...
