95 SSEi alarm questions
Im looking at a 95 SSEi and i was wondering if the Factory Alarm system would be messed up with an aftermarket radio?

I have a 95 SSEi, and replaced the factory unit with no problems. As I recall, there are no "alarm system" wires connected to the radio harness. You will loose your steering wheel controls, but there are even adapters for those functions.
Hope that helps

Absolutely. You'll have no problems. I gotta tell you, though. For a factory sound system, the Bonneville'* stereo is pretty impressive. I dumped my Jensen to go back to stock.
This will probably be one of the easiest to remove you'll ever see.

my brother'* 92 stock stereo wasn't too bad, but my mom'* 95 "premium" one sounds really really bad. Don't know what'* with it, but man, you can't get any any good bass out of the 6x9'* at all in it. GM should of kept the boxes that the 91- H-bodies had. Those boxes made the 6x9'* sound great. The only kind of bass the 6x9'* put out are a 'farty' type of bass. lol. it is really annoying. The front 5.25'* actually put out more than the 6x9'* do!
But for stock system, they are definately a lot better than a lot of cars out there.
