This started happening in my 96 GA GT...turned out to be a bad alternator. The system started shutting down systems and ABS was the first to go....

You're running a slightly different system than my 93, but this should basically apply. I think you have a dirty/loose connection somewhere. Disconnect and clean (with some spray electrical contact cleaner) all the connections at the 4 wheel speed sensors (behind the hubs), the PMV located beneath your airbox (pump lookin' thing with the brake lines going in and out)....should be 3 connectors there, and at the EBCM located above the center hump against the inside of the firewall (to the right of the loud pedal).

See what that does for you. This can be a very expensive system to repair, but my hopes are high that the light is just intermittent. It'* possible that your pump for traction control (you do have traction, right?) may be taking longer to come up than normal, which would be about $900 to have repaired, or about 400 to do yourself. A real bitch. Hope for the best.

no i dont have traction control, at least not the kind you can turn on and off.and since it happens so rarely i dont think im gonna worry about it. seems like someone told me earlier than it could be a little bit of dust or somethin(i live on a gravel road) that was causin it to mess up. also could my warped rotor/* make it mess up also?
