And we should show up with 35% all around tint...I am getting the waiver right now, and we're going to chip in for the tinting as a Christmas gift for both Rob and I. That always looks so nice on black cars.

Is it legal in Connecticut? How much are you allowed to do?

It doesn't look good. It seems all tinting on the front side windows and windshield is banned, and the remaining windows need a sticker identifying them as legal between the film and the glass on each tinted window. The law is really long and complicated though so i might be missing something. http://home.pcisys.net/~bpc/auto_law/tint/tint_ct.html

According to this link at tintdude.com, CT can have any tint on the back glass and rear side windows, and anything down to 35% for the front sides. You should be set with those parameters.

And to rewind this thread to the conversation 2 pages ago ( ), yeah I know what it'* like to finally find the car you've always wanted. I always wanted a black '99 SSEi with chrome torque stars, and settled (happily, mind you) for a green '98 SLE with chrome torque stars. Of course it burned up a few months later and I ended up with a '99 Aurora for a replacement... but that'* another story.

The fact that you test-drove the same exact car a few years ago is just plain freaky! It'* like it'* been waiting for you all this time...

No kidding...when I realized that I was in bed trying to go to sleep, and I suddenly sat up, wide awake and said, "Holy $#!+" outloud. It feels like someone is trying to tell us something.
