Smart asses.

I needed the exact length of 33", so I had them cut it off. The left over piece was what was left of the 8 footer after they cut it. I didn't want them to cut it again and waste the perfectly good left over length. It still wouldn't fit.
I was in a hurry. My 20' x 10' sundeck was hanging in mid air with no corner support at all. Cantilevered from the house 10'. It rotted right off....caught me by surprise one hour before sunset.
I just made it back and replaced it as the sun set. Days are sure short now.

Yeah pretty much any lumber yard around here will cut it for you, sometimes they will add 1$ or so for the cut. I have had to do it before for people I knew, besides it got me out of the store, ( I work there on Saturdays, then on the road the rest of the week).
