Well...thats hopefully the last hardest hurdle for the project. Randman...I think we'll be pulling the tank on the 95 and give it a try. Keys are on the rack at the top of the stairs.

Last weekend we yanked the airbox and pcm outta the 97 to look at the canister. (we were on the hunt for the evap purge valve connector, only to find it on the back of the motor)

That'* a very nice gesture, Bill but I don't really want to ransack your car. It'll tough to sell on your front lawn with no fuel tank.
this is why I'm leaving the tank last. I really wanted to install it once with a sending unit that would work with the gauge but I don't want it to delay the project anymore than it already is. I'll just have to live by my trip odometer for a while.
Maybe we'll get lucky in that Brockton yard??

I am assuming if I found a 95 Fuel pumo in the junkyard you wouldn't want me to grab it since I won't be there til the 18th and you want to get this done. If you do want me to grab one, there is a 97 SE and a 95 SE in the yard in binghamton, which I am going to this weekend.

Since I couldn't find a junk yard sender I bit the bullet and bought a new one. I first ordered a 95 replacement from Advance. When it came in, I compared it to the 97. There were several differences so I asked them to order a 94. I picked it up this afternoon and it looks like it will do the trick. It goes in this weekend and not a moment too soon. The car nearly shut down as I was enjoying a WOT moment for lack of fuel.
Don, does your fuel pump have two studs that serve as the electrical connection or is there a plastic plug-in connector? The 95 had the stud type connection and didn't have the bottom support for the pump. I don't know if the right part was ordered in the first place or not.
