Default looking for a new motor

Hello everyone. I'm back. Scary huh? I needed a break from it all and now I'm ready to get back to the Bonneville. Well as my topic states I'm looking for a new motor/ long-block. I'm needing suggestions on where some may have purchased a motor for their Bonne. The last one I got was from Powersource but with everything that went down, I'm thinking I'd like to go with someone else to be on the safe side. I appreciate suggestions on this. The cars been down to long now and I have to get her back on the road. Thanks.

How much of a budget do you have?
You could get a crate engine but they are spendy. Also there are many good shops that can rebuild your old one?

the less it cost, the sooner I can get it done. I'm considering building one my self at this point. I just need a good parts list. The most recently destroyed motor went back to powersource and I received the core after the whole deal went down. The whole thing was pretty bad.

Why conversion, he should have an L67 already. You mean Series II?

Yea, S2, you can get one from Ed for about 600 dollars depending on milage. A trany should be another 500 or so.

I'd still be looking at a supercharger and ecu/ecm too ,I think, if I were to do a conversion. Is Ed on the boards? does he ever deal with series I? How do I get in touch with him? Thanks again for all the info

You may want to pm caminated2k I think he has done a few l67 s2 swaps. He will know what all is involved. I belive (not sure) that Ed sells complete l67 engines, including the sc. The pcm you can always get from INTENSE.
