Default Mounting of GXP spoiler

Eventually I may grab a GXP spoiler. I did a lot of searching yesterday and read many posts. I found a thread where someone said the outer pieces bolt on, and one would have to drill holes for those. I didn't believe it. So I asked a fellow GXP owner what he thought. He said they appear to be taped on, which is what I was thinking.

So....who else can confirm this?

Even if they are originally bolted, I'd tape them instead. Drilling holes in the fender makes me nervous.

I'd ask that they look in their trunk at the fender if possible and confirm.

Its taped. I didn't see any bolts going into it from inside the trunk.

Also you can kinda see the tape at the meet up point.

Want me to take it off to show you?? haha righttttt.....

ReallyAGXP said it was taped as well. I assumed he looked on the inside of the fender too.

But I agree, if they WERE bolted on, I would tape it instead anyway. I wouldn't want myself or someone else drilling holes in the body of the car.

Vince, you can take it off and ship it to me instead.
