A cooling question
The heatsheild by in front of the fan, should i keep it there or remove it. I was wondering if it is affecting cooling.

actually lol i just noticed it for the first time ever. I had never paid attention to it. But lately i have been in the cooling phase and noticed it and thought about removing it.

ok then. I was wondering because it looks like it is blocking about 20 percent or more of the fan. And it is only on one side. Is there a certain reason for it?

Pete...go lift your hood..I think you had one in 94
TJ.. leave it. It may be cooling the fan motor. It'* not 20 percent..there'* very little airflow.in the middle.

I'm betting it'* like a "heatsink" which cools the fan motor as Bill said.
