Stupid Parking Lots!
So yesterday after work i am walking out to my vehicle and notice a black spot on my back bumper, didn't think anything of it just thought it was dirt because my car is pretty dirty right now (damn rain) so i just drove home and got out to get the mail was walking back to the house and looked at my rear bumper again and noticed that spot was not dirt, someone hit me in the parking lot . Im so pissed, i just had a new bumper put on fresh paint and all after being rear ended and now some *** hits me in the parking lot... it left two black marks one about 5 inches, and one right below it about 3 inches the bottom one came off with a rag and some elbow grease but the top one isn't coming out as easy and it left a bit of a scratch, but its too small to file a claim with insurence so i will just have to try and "fix" it my self. From now on i am parking way way in the back of the parking lot by myself. Some People

Yeap. People are damn inconsiderate of other people'* property. They think that if they can bang up their own doors, they can do the same to other people and they wont mind. Its that selfish mindset. My sides on the 93 and 96 have small dents because of women opening their doors like crazy and slamming them into the side of the next car. I see it all the time.

Sorry to hear that!! Ignorant people **** me off!!
Also, dont ever think its too small a claim because even though the deductible would be spent before any insurance money kicks in, its the other driver that will have to pay out of his pocket in the long term because of raised insurance rates on his policy.
I would have claimed it anyways.
Usually if I park in a iffy spot, I jot down the plate numbers of the two cars next to me and I keep them handy should one side be dinged up or scratched.

I feel for ya, man. It never fails! Last year I had front & rear new painted bumpers installed after some collision work, and guess what? I hit a deer (never hit one in my life), then ran into a hitching post. Tore the front bumper up big time. It'* Murphy at work here. I know your anger and frustration. People are careless though, especially in parking areas.

I always park as far out as I can when I'm alone, when my fiancee is with me I get to park in the handicapped spaces because of arthritis and nerve damage in her feet.

the curse lives on.............
yea, I usually park out I don't mind walking a bit.... However I've come to realize my car isn't worth it and if someone fells the urge to hit/bump it and cause a couple of marks eh I don't really care anymore besides it doesn't show up as good as it does on white, I'd say even though it'* nerve racking, try not worry too much about it. I realize you care for your car and what happend was wrong just try not to make a mountain out of a mole hill at least they didn't steal your rims off your car (it happens with stock wheels too )

Yup, thats typical. If you want you're car to be mint. Buy a beater for those situations. Only drive the nice car in the country away from people.
